Meet our guest hosts
(In addition to Beth & David)

Meet our good friend, Nancy Nethercott. Nancy was a missionary in Japan for almost 30 years and continues to teach and train internationally. She has hosted and led retreats for various groups, including church leaders, missionaries, and women. As an Anglican priest and spiritual director, Nancy knows the importance of silence and solitude, and time for retreat and reflection. Complementing her gift of hospitality, Nancy loves to cook and share good food and conversation around the table.

While hosting retreatants at Fall Creek Abbey, Nancy is available to meet for Spiritual Direction and facilitate guided retreats. She is also a Sabbatical Coach, and happy to meet with those on sabbatical retreat.

Meet our good friend, Carol Collins. Carol is a hospitality enthusiast and lover of supporting others through her careful attention to detail and administration. Before joining the Abbey she oversaw a signficant ministry department as a staff director in her local church. Carol is a trained spiritual director.

Carol, and her husband Doug, enjoy hosting game nights with friends or pulling pranks in good fun. Carol believes in the power of diverse perspectives and strives to create spaces where people from all backgrounds and walks of life feel welcomed and valued.

While hosting retreatants at Fall Creek Abbey, Carol is happy to also meet with them for Spiritual Direction.

Meet our good friends, Ben and Deb Sternke. They have been involved in Christian ministry for over 25 years as pastors, church planters, coaches, and teachers. In 2015 they planted The Table, a church where Ben is a bi-vocational co-pastor who also spends his time coaching pastors in transformational leadership through Gravity Leadership, an organization he co-founded. Deb is also involved in ministry at The Table and Gravity Leadership, and is training to become a mental health counselor. They love hosting people and creating conversations that cultivate curiosity and connection.

While hosting retreatants at Fall Creek Abbey, they are happy to also meet with them for leadership or personal coaching.

Meet our good friends, Scott and Joann Richardson. They have lived and worked cross-culturally as missionaries (Romania and Lebanon) and in campus ministry. They have also worked in the marketplace, Scott as an engineer and Joann as an occupational therapist. They are both trained spiritual directors through Fall Creek Abbey, and now serve with Barnabas International, “shepherding the hearts of global workers”. Among other outdoor activities they enjoy good conversation with their feet under the table with good friends (and new ones!).

While hosting at Fall Creek Abbey, they will be available to meet for Spiritual Direction and offering personal or group guided retreats. Joann is an Enneagram Coach, as well as a Transition Coach with The Way Between.

Meet our good friends, Nate and Sarah Pyle. They have been involved in ministry for nearly 20 years as youth pastor, pastor, coaches, retreat facilitators and teachers. Nate is the pastor of Christ's Community Church in Fishers. He is also an author of two books and has written for a number of publications. Additionally, he is a coach with The Leader's Journey, a coaching organization helping leaders grow in wholehearted leadership. Sarah is also involved in ministry at Christ's Community Church and has overseen marriage ministry at the church. They enjoy creating hospitable spaces for people to explore their faith, ask deep questions, and feel God's love.

While hosting at Fall Creek Abbey, they will be facilitating guided retreats and are available for coaching.
